The Fabulous Myrtle Beach Boardwalk and Promenade
The boardwalk begins at 14th Ave. N and meanders down to the 2nd Avenue Pier. Along the way are lots of shops and restaurants to enjoy, as well as numerous special events all through the summer. At Plyler Park, one of the favorite events is Hot Summer Nights right on Ocean Blvd. The Myrtle Beach Boardwalk and Promenade has divided into three sections that include the northern section which goes from 14th Ave. N down to Plyler Park. The middle section goes from there down to the site of the former Pavilion Amusement Park. This section is at 8th Ave. N and has more of the fun, carnival-like feel due to all the fun shops, attractions and eateries. The southern section works its way down the ocean to the 2nd Ave. Pier. The stroll along this section is quieter with beautiful ocean views.
You can catch a ride on the SkyWheel, play some arcade games with your family, meander through the many shops, or stroll along as you enjoy the many forms of live entertainment. It’s no wonder that the Myrtle Beach Boardwalk has been voted #3 in the country by National Geographic! At a price of nearly $7 million to build, more than 800,000 feet or lumber, almost half a million nails and screws, builders put their heart and soul into this beautiful project. Don’t miss out on the boardwalk—it’s better than ever and just one of the many things we’re proud of here in Myrtle Beach! Start planning your vacation now and call us to book the best deals on the best oceanfront condos! The boardwalk is waiting….
