Reflecting on 2014
For many businesses, the economy has made it a hard year and you’re just glad to still have your doors open and doing business each month. For others, you are finally seeing a glimmer of hope for an upswing in the economy as we slowly recover. Whatever the case, we can all look for ways to bless others, even though we may have little. I don’t know about you, but when I look for opportunities to impact someone’s life for the better, everything in my own life just seems richer and more full. As we get ready to close out this year, we here at Oceanfront Vacations want to challenge each of you to take the time to be thankful for all that you have been blessed with this year, and also make a plan for how you can do good for others in the year to come. Perhaps it’s getting the kids involved with regular donations to Good Will from their own toys and clothes, or preparing a meal for a family in need. Whatever you choose to do, don’t let the holiday season of November and December be the only time you think about giving and being thankful. It’s truly something we can do every day of the year if we will just choose to do it. Of course, one way you can give of your time is to be with your family and unplug, unwind, and turn off the technology as you spend time together. There’s no better place to get away than at the beach for a perfect winter get away! If you’ve never experienced Myrtle Beach in the winter, come and let the solitude recharge your batteries and draw your family together. We pray that your Christmas has been fantastic and that you have enjoyed your friends and family, and we also pray that you will experience all God’s best in 2015. We all have only one life, so make it count in this new year!! Happy New Year from Oceanfront Vacations!
